Don't waste your money

The ergoconvert electric sit stand desk converter was purchased for 3 staff members and our standard Lenovo monitors didn't fit nor feel secure to attach to the stands on the converter. When I reached out, the organization wouldn't allow a refund or to switch out the units (because I was 1 week over their standard 30 days return policy even though I didn't receive their units until week 3). They did however send me longer screws which didn't mitigate the issue. I now have 3 converters to sell.

An impressive addition to any workspace.

Great way to add movement to your workday without investing in a full sit-stand desk. It's easy to install and operate, has a large work surface, and a cable management system to reduce clutter. The electric lift mechanism allows for smooth transitions between sitting and standing, and the sturdy construction ensures durability.

Great desk, so-so stand.

Very impressed with the build quality on this desk. All the metal is gorgeously powder-coated and made of seriously thick metal. There is almost no wobble at full extension, and it goes up/down smoothly. I'm 6' tall an stand on a 1.5" platform and it goes high enough for me with 2" of rise to spare. Only complaint I have is the particle board work surface & keyboard tray just have drilled holes for wood-screws... I'd rather have seen threaded inserts here.

The monitor stand, though, was disappointing. Though well built, the back-most joint was double-bolted for some reason, so it does not act like a joint. This makes it impossible to get my 24" monitors to meet in the centre without a 3" gap. Removing one of the bolts solves this issue, but seems an odd choice. Also, the joints were all a bit loose, so suggest you pop off the plastic caps and tighten everything up once your monitors are positioned perfectly. Adjusting monitors up/down is also very difficult, although that is an issue with any stand of this design.

What our office needed

Originally was looking to get a standing desk, but this looked promising. Turned out better than expected. Needed 2 people to set it up but once it was up, it worked perfectly for our staff.
